I am a full time freelance photographer based in London with over twenty years experience.
I specialise in producing imagery for design agencies, corporate companies and publishing companies, whether it be an in depth editorial profile, creative portraits or an annual report. I relish capturing great imagery to allow my clients to communicate their core messages and brand values. Allied to this is my overall ability, with twenty years of professional experience, of getting the best out of ‘real’ people in ‘real’ situations. The empathy with and understanding of people and place is key to all my work, both commercial and personal.
I continue to pursue my own documentary art photography with a specialism in photographing the changing British social landscape. My ‘Estate’ photography from my early career has been highly acclaimed since it was published in my first monograph in 2015. Current new work includes a commissioned return project to the estate a generation later and my ongoing series Provision focusing the lost ideals of the post war generation, manifest in British modernist architecture. Challenge me with a location and a brief and I will bring everyone on board to deliver the pictures you need. Photographing portraits, working with the environment, wether it is just me or my wider production team, I can bring out the best in any given situation to produce powerful, creative and communicative photography.
I am represented by L A Noble Gallery, London.
I am a member of the Association of Photographers.
